This program is for anyone with tight schedules. It has been developed for people working and living in a French-speaking country – being busy with changing schedules, tailored to their needs and obligations. It is for those who cannot attend schools on a fixed basis and wish to have something more than just a live session per week.
About me
My name is Sebastien Cretegny, I’m Swiss, from Geneva.
I am an expat myself.
As a teacher, my background is rather peculiar. I studied electronics, worked in the machine industry, and became a Customer Service Manager.
I travelled the world for work and had my share of backpacking trips, where I learned English, Spanish and German. After living in Sankt Gallen (Switzerland), Cairo (Egypt), and then moving to Cali (Colombia), I changed career path. I started in 2018 to teach French online, full time, mostly for expats working for Nestlé, Google, Philip Morris, Royal Canin, BNP Paribas among others.
How I work
I could never say : “That’s the way it is, just memorize and repeat it”.
Learning a language is not just learning words, it is entering a new mentality, a new culture. I love to understand why things are the way they are – being passionate about languages, history, geography, economy, culture.
I offer truly unique classes: With some of my students, we study Swiss history, political systems, 3D-printing, marketing, arts, music, all while practicing French grammar and vocabulary. I love going offtrack, making every class an exciting experience.

The method
– One (or two) live session in French per week
– About 20 videos per level, between 5 and 15 minutes each
– Videos and documents – in English for a better understanding
– High flexibility
– All levels conducted over 2 or 3 months, with extra month extension possible.
– Maximum 10 students per class.
– Live classes:
They are scheduled in the evening, same time every week, where we practice speaking including pronunciation. They take place between 6pm and 10pm, European time. Should you miss one, it’s not lost. Check the calendar to find that same class, some other day.
– The perfect mix: The goal is to practice French regularly with the self-study material. The live classes allow you to practice your pronunciation and make sure you understand the content. But above all, the live classes help you learn faster and be motivated.
